To make a backup of the Visual Message Center – Reporting System configuration, please follow these steps:

- Make a copy of all the *.par files (customized reports) of the Reporting System installation path (and subfolders)

- Make a copy of all the *.off files (scheduled reports) of the “Scheduled Reports” folder.

- As the Scheduled reports work with Windows Scheduled tasks, you will have to create the tasks again if you want to import the entire configuration into a new system. So, in order to import the scheduled task in another system, just copy the *.off files and then create manually one Windows scheduled task by report, pointing to the *.off file.

If the system is the same from where the configuration has been exported, then instead of creating the task, you can just copy the Windows Scheduled tasks (*.job files) from the C:\Windows\Tasks directory.
