I'm new to SEQUEL and need to create a view and schedule it to run on a certain day of the week, here's what I mean.

How to use the function (DAYOF WEEK) to identify Tuesday and then have the report run data for the prior Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
I know how to use (current date €“ 4days) to get to Friday but what do in put in for DAYOFWEEK(<>)? What goes in <>.

Returns values from 1 to 7 representing the days of the week for the given date expression. Sunday corresponds to a value of 1.

If you need Tuesday, then you would monitor for a 3.

DAYOFWEEK(yourdatefield)= 3

richg,

I’ll get all this terminology down one day, I'm just grateful for people like yourself to lean a hand.
