The Automate Schedule software will work in a networked environment where the Automate Schedule agents are able to establish a single, long-running TCP/IP connection to the Automate Schedule server.

This connection is always initiated by the Automate Schedule agents, using information contained within a configuration file (on each agent) which contains the port and IP address (or resolvable DNS name) of the Automate Schedule server.

Note: Skybot Scheduler has been renamed to Automate Schedule and is now part of the Automate suite of products. The existing Skybot Scheduler features and functionality are the same; only the product name has changed.
