Objects (previously known as scheduling objects) are created in Automate Schedule to help simplify the maintenance of the schedule. Each of the items under the Objects menu are created once and then used multiple times.

For example, create a command set to run the same list of commands on multiple agents. This is especially helpful if there are multiple commands or scripts that are run within one Automate Schedule job. This eliminates typographical errors from the command line. Also, if the commands change, simply change the command set and every job that runs that set is automatically updated.

Note: Skybot Scheduler has been renamed to Automate Schedule and is now part of the Automate suite of products. The existing Skybot Scheduler features and functionality are the same; only the product name has changed.
