This article applies to BoKS Manager 6.7.0 and 6.7.1.

Description

When creating a user account in BoKS and providing an LDAP Distinguished Name, the mkbks command requires a one-to-one mapping between the user and the Distinguished Name (DN). This makes it impossible to map a single LDAP user to multiple BoKS users defined in different Host Groups.

Resolution / Workaround

To resolve this issue, apply hotfix HFBM-0199, available for download from the HelpSystems Community Portal.

This hotfix removes the one-to-one enforcement in mkbks.

A workaround is to create the user in two steps:
- create user without domain-id and DN
- add domain-ID and DN using modbks
