The BoKS log server blogsd fails to move the audit log file to the backup directory if this directory is on a different mounted file system. It also fails to read the configured log and backup log directories correctly in some circumstances, e.g. when multiple hosts have different log directory settings, and the Master is not the first entry in the database.

Resolution / Workaround

To resolve this issue, apply hotfix HFBM-0158, available for download from the FoxT customer support website.

Hotfix HFBM-0158 corrects the way blogsd handles a failure to perform a rename; it should then copy the file and unlink the original file instead. The error logging for problems during the file rotation has also been improved. The hotfix additionally corrects the way it reads the log directory configuration.
