When the queue of password file updates on the BokS Master is large there may be a time lag until the actual update takes place on the Server Agents. In this situation it can be of help if an update of the local password file can be requested from with in a Server Agent itself.

To resolve these issues in BoKS Manager 6.7.0, apply hotfix HFBM-0074, available for download from the HelpSystems Community Portal.

The cadm -P2 (when executed without option -h) will request an update of all existing entries in /etc/passwd on the local host. With this hotfix cadm has been enhanced to take a user login name as argument to option -P to unconditionally update the password file entry for user.

See man page cadm(1) for more information.
