Keystroke logged sessions could sometimes leave orphaned kslog processes running on the system. The problem may be platform independent but has mainly been observed on Linux (from suexec su user sessions).

All versions of BoKS up to and including 6.7 are affected by this issue.

Resolution / Workaround

Apply the hotfix HFBM-0060-1, available from the HelpSystems Community Portal, which contains corrected kslog binaries for BoKS 6.6 and 6.7 on all supported platforms.

The kslog program has been corrected to make sure the session is terminated when the controlling terminal is gone.
