When restarted by itself (not by Boot) the boks_master process may cause the servm send bridge to stop responding

If the boks_master process is restarted by itself (not by Boot), it can in some rare circumstances cause the servm send bridge to stop responding.

This issue occurs because, when the boks_master starts, it sends a batch message to all known replicas. This can interfere with ongoing database updating, causing the bridge process to read the wrong reply, which makes it stop responding.

This does not occur during a normal Boot, as the batch message is sent before database updates are sent.

Resolution / Workaround

Install the hotfix HFBM-0011, available for download from the HelpSystems Community Portal.

The hotfix resolves this issue by ensuring that the bridge does not send other messages while it is processing a database update.

Alternatively, this issue can be resolved by upgrading to BoKS Manager 6.7.
