When a user attempts to authenticate using SecurID and fails, the failed login count for the user should increase but does not
The failed login counter in BoKS is not incremented when the wrong PIN is given for a SecurID-authenticated access for PAM services on Linux, and XDM/DTLOGIN services on other PAM platforms.
Resolution / Workaround
Install hotfix HFBM-0014-2, available for download from the HelpSystems Community Portal.
With this hotfix applied, the failed login counter is increased where appropriate.
Alternatively, you can also resolve this issue by upgrading to BoKS Manager / BoKS Server Agent for Unix / Linux 6.7.
