This article applies to BoKS Manager 7.0.0 and 7.1.0.

Description

In HFBM-0220 / HFBM-0238 a connection counter was introduced in the
servc receive bridge to be able to limit the number of simultaneous
connections.
The method used to decrement the counter on connection close was
not reliable and could result in connection close events being lost,
which in turn could trigger the max connection limit even if the
actual number of connections was below the limit.

Resolution / Workaround

To resolve this issue, apply hotfix HFBM-0264 (for BoKS 7.0) or HFBM-0265
(for BoKS 7.1), available for download from the HelpSystems Community
Portal.

In these hotfixes boks_bridge connection counter handling is updated so
counter value always matches the actual number of connections, thus
avoiding false triggering of the max connection limit.

Note that hotfix HFBM-0265 applies only for RedHat-EL6.0-x86_64.
