fccsetup is the BoKS 6.7 GUI setup wizard. It guides you through the steps necessary to run the BoKS GUI.
You can use this wizard to create a new host Virtual Card for the Master.
Note that this creates a new Root CA. If you are using the BoKS Control Center, the BoKS Desktop or Web Services Interface this will break SSL communication with the Master!
If you are using any of these products, we strongly recommend that you use another tool to create a new Host Virtual Card such as the custom script mkhostvc.sh. For details, please see the article How to: Create a new host certificate with Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN).
As root, start a BoKS shell on the Master:
# /opt/boksm/sbin/boksadm -S
Delete the old host Virtual Card:
usrcreds del -k $(lh -I $(hostname))
#In BoKS 7.1 and later, use
hostcreds del -h $(lh -I $(hostname))
Run fccsetup (located in $BOKS_sbin/):
BoKS # fccsetup
Enter the requested data. In most cases, the default values are acceptable. As the last step, verify the data you entered and type "yes" to make the changes to BoKS.
Important! If you are using BoKS Control Center you will now need to recreate the Java Keystore file (trustfile.jks) on the BoKS Control Center Presentation Server (which may or may not be running on the Master) with the correct Host Certificate, Private Key and CA Chain. To do this, follow the steps in article #11297: "Update the BoKS Control Center Java Keystore file after changing Root CA".
