Change the default organization in the BoKS Reporting Manager web interface by updating the properties file

 

When logging in to the BoKS Reporting Manager web interface you specify the full login name of the administrator using the syntax administrator@org whereadministrator is the administrator's user name and org is the organization they belong to. If you do not specify the web interface administrator's organization, the default organization as specified in the BoKS Reporting Manager properties file (default location /opt/boksbrm/bdpjm/config/boksbrm.properties) is used.

To change the default organization:

 

1. Open the BoKS Reporting Manager properties file with a text editor
2. Change the default organization by changing the parameter Organization to the desired value
3. Save the file
4. Stop the BoKS Reporting Manager
$ /opt/boksbrm/brm/APIs/brm.sh stop
Monitor the catalina.out file (default location /opt/boksbrm/brm/jakarta/log/catalina.out), wait for the following line to be
displayed:
INFO: Stopping Coyote HTTP/1.1 on http-8080
5. Restart the BoKS Reporting Manager
$ /opt/boksbrm/brm/APIs/brm.sh start
In the window monitoring the catalina.out file, wait for the following line to be
displayed:
 
INFO: Server startup in ... ms
