How to set the timeout for BoKS Control Center administration sessions

The timeout for BoKS Control Center administration sessions is set using the BoKS ENV variable BCCASD_SESSION_EXPIRE on the BoKS Master.

The default setting is 600 seconds.

To change the timeout setting:

1. Log in to the BoKS Master and become root or enter a role with administrative privileges.

2. Open the BoKS ENV file in an editor.
For example:
# vi /etc/opt/boksm/ENV

3. Find the variable BCCASD_SESSION_EXPIRE and set it to the number of seconds you want sessions to last.
For example:
BCCASD_SESSION_EXPIRE=1200
To give a session time of 1200 seconds.

4. Save the ENV file and exit.
