Product End of Life and Support for BoKS 6.5, 6.6, 6.7 and 7.x

On January 28, 2015 FoxT announced End of Life dates for all BoKS 6.5 and 6.6 components according to the old support model. After further consideration FoxT has decided to implement a new phased support model for all current FoxT products. The new support model consists of three distinct phases from release to end of life. Each phase offers a different level of support.

Another change is we will have Short Term Releases (STR) as well as Long Term Releases (LTR). The STR/LTR approach will allow FoxT to develop and release new features and functionality more rapidly while at the same time letting customers choose whether to upgrade to get new functionality more often (STR) or stay on a stable release for a longer period of time (LTR).

BoKS 6.5, 6.6, 6.7, 7.0 and 7.1 will be supported and reach end of life as follows:

The specific dates per version and installation type are:

Versions of other FoxT components and products like BoKS Password Manager reach end of life at the same time as the corresponding version of BoKS Manager.

These decisions comply with FoxT’s product management Product Lifecycle Policy, the objective of which is to simplify our product line and to allow FoxT to focus its efforts on developing current and future versions of our products on prioritized platforms. This focus will allow us to continue to bring you the innovative technology you have come to expect from FoxT solutions.
