An extra Windows logon is required when accessing a BoKS Server Agent for Windows host using Remote Desktop Connection (RDC).

When you run RDC to a BoKS Server Agent for Windows server, you always have to log in using your
Windows password even if you have already provided logon data via for example, your BoKS password or
an RSA SecurID token.
This issue is caused by Microsoft’s handling of custom credential providers. BoKS Server Agent for
Windows includes a custom credential provider so that logins to the Windows Server can be controlled
within the BoKS infrastructure.
When a custom credential provider is provided for authentication, and you do RDC to a machine, you will
have to log in twice for a remote session. Microsoft states that this behavior is by design.
