Description

BoKS SSH is set up to accept logins with password and it works from a terminal, but not with a third party SSH Client.

Resolution / Workaround

The SSH protocol authentication layer has two ways of doing a password login: Password and Keyboard-Interactive.

BoKS will always require Keyboard-Interactive, but some SSH Clients may be set up to use Password by default.

The solution is to find the settings in the Client Software that allow for Keyboard-Interactive login.
