Many customers have large monitors on the walls of operations areas to make the Enterprise Console highly visible to their Operations Teams. Other customers simply use the Enterprise Console Client on an additional monitor on their desk.
Either method is a great way of having your Enterprise Console readily visible and enables you to keep an eye on your enterprise.
You may, however wish to customise the display to suit your needs.
This “how to…” shows you how to do the following:
Remember, when you have made customisation changes to the Enterprise Console Client to save the layout by either;
When a new layout name is saved, it is available in the layouts drop-down (3)
In version 10.3 of the Enterprise Console and above, the layout files are stored in
%PROGRAMDATA%
Which typically equates to:
C:\ProgramData\Halcyon\Enterprise Console\Layouts
You can then distribute a customised layout to all users of the enterprise console client. If it is placed in this directory on their desktop or laptop PC, it will be available for use in the layouts drop-down (3).
To select what columns are displayed in the panels: click on the “*” in column 1 on the enterprise console client display and check/uncheck what you require.
You need to do this for each panel.
The change takes effect immediately.
Remember to save the layout.
This is done on the Enterprise Console client display.
To change the colour of the Status column:

To change the colour of the source column entries:

If you want to change the colour of the status column in the devices panel:
