Command Security offers the following reports available from the Reports Menu, or via a command:

  • The PCS Journal Report (PCSJRNRPT) prints activity that has occurred in response to a monitored command. Command Security records actions for a monitored command in a secure journal called PCSLOG. This provides an audit trail for Command Security. You can print a detailed report, or a summary limiting the information to the criteria you specify. For example, you can limit the report by start and end date and time, user profile, job name, command name, and library.
  • The Database Change Log Report (PCSDCLRPT) prints any change to the Command Security settings. You can limit the report by start and end date and time, user profile, and commands, conditions, or actions.
  • The Print Monitored Commands Report (PCSPRTCMDS) lists the commands being monitored by Command Security. You can subset the list to see only the commands that meet the criteria you specify. You can also select to include all the rule settings for each command.
  • The Print Named Actions Report (PCSPRTACTS) lists the named actions you've defined to Command Security. You can subset the list so you see only the named actions that meet the criteria you specify. You also can include all the rule settings for each named action.
  • The Print Named Conditions Report (PCSPRTCNDS) lists the named conditions you've defined to Command Security. You can subset the list so you see only the named conditions that meet the criteria you specify. You also can include all the rule settings for each named condition.
  • The Print Named Actions Where Used (PCSPRTACTU) report lists the Monitored Commands that make use of each Named Action.
  • The Print Named Conditions Where Used (PCSPRTCNDU) report lists the Monitored Commands that make use of each Named Condition.
