During an Identity Manager audit, Remedies are used to define how to correct discrepancies between values defined in Identity Manager and values defined in the endpoint. When there is a discrepancy (a failure), there are three possible actions:

  • Acknowledge. Ignores the failure.
  • Adjust user profile on endpoint. Updates the value on the endpoint to match the value as defined in PowerTech.
  • Accept new settings. Updates the value in PowerTech to match the value defined on the endpoint.

To select a remedy, in the Audit Item Results panel, for items that have failed, choose to apply a Remedy (option 7) to select from one of these three options.
