Problem:

If a user inadvertently places a CR/LF character in the entry grids for the output queue names in the WinSpool/400 Batch or Email Report Server software, they may receive this error in the iSeries joblog:
 
A matching parenthesis is not found. A matching left or right parenthesis is missing. 
 
Another indication of this error is if the reports aren't being moved correctly to another output queue after downloading. This can be the problem. 

Solution:

Check all output queue entries to determine if the invisible CR/LF character has been entered. If the user cannot determine this, they may need to send their settings databases to us. 
 
For Batch Report Server send WSPBCH32.MDB; for Email Report Server send: WSPESR32.MDB.
