Error 3041 when opening WinSpool/400 Email Report Server or WinSpool/400 Batch Report Server · Customer Portal

Problem:

When you open WinSpool/400 Email Report Server or WinSpool/400 Batch Report Server, you get runtime error 3041.

Solution:

The VB runtime file MSRD2X35.DLL was not registered properly.

Either:

Register it by running:
RegSvr32.exe "c:\WINDOWS\system32\MSRD2X35.DLL"
-or-
Download and install the alternate VB5 runtime.
