Problem Statement:

When logging into the ShowCase server in Warehouse Manager Client, receives error: "an unnamed file cannot be found."

Showcase  is installed on a CITRIX environment. When customer logs into the network as LAN administrator, the Warehouse Manager Client works fine.

Solution:

  1. Warehouse Manager Client cache file (scadm32.scc) defaults to be written to the ShowCase install folder.
  • Verify that the Cache File Directory is set to a valid path.
  • Open Warehouse Manager Client and login to the data-source for the ShowCase Server.
  • Select: Tools | Options | PC Cache | Cache File Directory.

Example: C:\Program Files\IBM\ShowCase\9

  1. Verify that the user has Read/Write Authority to the ShowCase install folder, unless you modify the location that this cache file is written.
     
  2. You can change the location where this cache file scadm32.scc is written.
  • In Warehouse Manager Client.
  • Open Warehouse Manager Client and login to the data-source for the ShowCase Server.
  • Select: Tools | Options | PC Cache | Cache File Directory.
  • Type in the desired path in Cache File Directory.
