Problem description / Issue description

From the SmartConsole nicelink connections you detect that there are iSeries systems disconnected, when you take a look at the t4trace.log file, or you see the nicelink messages you see.

Step 1

Go to your iSeries system and verify that the T4NICELINK subsystem is up and running.

To do this, you should:

1) Enter interactively to your System i
2) Execute the command: WRKACTJOB SBS(T4NICELINK)
3) Look for a job called DAEMON, it should be up and running

If you don't find this job, please:

1) Execute the command: ENDSBS T4NICELINK *IMMED
2) Execute the command: STRSBS T4NICELINK/T4NICELINK
3) Look for a job called DAEMON, it should be up and running
