Import a SmartConsole configuration in a cluster

A SmartConsole configuration has to be imported before configuring the SmartConsole HA Manager in "Cluster" mode, otherwise SmartConsole will show the DSN Checker window displaying the message that the configuration is split between the registry and the database. (View the screenshot below.)


The steps to follow up for importing a previous configuration are:

  • To make sure the High Availability Mode is in "Normal" (Start > Programs > VISUAL Message Center > SmartConsole > Herramientas > SmartConsole HA Manager)
  • To import the SmartConsole's configuration, in service or user mode
  • To change the High Availability Mode to "Cluster"
  • To stop the SmartConsole service
  • To start the SmartConsole service
