Problem description / Issue description

You try to connect using SmartConsole to a ThinkServer System but receives a "-11 connection error" instead.

Context information

You have more than 2 ThinkServer environments inserting events to the same DDBB. You update the T4BDdll.dll in one of them and start receiving the disconnection issues in SmartConsole. T4BDdll.dll is usually upgraded when you install a new DBSetAdmin version, or a new ThinkServer HF, or in order to fix an specific issue.

Cause

ThinkServer cannot insert events on the DataBase and returns an error on the EventLog: Error sending message to DataBase_ [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Cannot insert the value NULL into column 'ENTITYGUID', table 'T04_events.dbo.T4EVENTLOG'; column does not allow nulls. INSERT fails

Solution

Upgrade the T4BDdll.dll on the system with the error. Installing the latest DBSetAdmin version should resolve the issue. The goal is to have the same T4BDdll.dll version on all your ThinkServer environments.
