If you are working in Viewpoint design, add the ALIAS choice in the bottom half of the F & F tab.  Options/Viewpoint Options, then the Design tab and check the alias button.  Then you can give long multiple names to each column.

Hi my name is Brandy and I work in technical support here at SEQUEL. I'd like to get some additional information from you about your report. Could you please email me a copy of the report's results as well as the print definition for the report? To get the definition from ViewPoint, please right click on the name of the report and go to Properties. Then click on Print Definition. There will be two files that open. Please save and email both of them. My email address is: [email protected] THANK YOU!

    Hi!

ViewPoint uses the connection properties of iSeries Navigator. I recommend that from your user's PC you go into Navigator and add the needed connection. You can also check here to see which other systems/partitions they have connections to.

If you have other questions, please don't hesitate to contact support. We're happy to help.

He edited his not via iNav, but via his session configuration.  He went into his sessions and changed his entry from the SYSTEM name to the FULLY QUALIFIED system name.  They appear fine now in his session window, yet he still cannot connect.
